Hello world… My first website news.

It’s mid June 2026 and I’m making my second, author’s website. (The first was a disaster, literally. I had to wipe my hard drive and start over. Let’s hope this one goes better.) There’s so much I want to do, and so much to do to get them finished.

• About ten years ago, I self-published my first stories, still available on Amazon and listed on my Grownup’s page. A couple of novellas and some short stories. I’m afraid to read them because (hopefully) I’m a better writer now.

• Since then I’ve retired and refocused on writing again. I’ve drafted a couple of novels and a novella, about colonizing the south pole of the Moon.

• I’ve also become interested in writing science fiction for children. I’ve drafted two children’s books (plus an activity booklet), about kids growing up in a city that floats in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

• And I’ve started writing a website with a newsletter-blog… It looks kinda like this.

• I’ve joined the Springfield Writer’s Guild, and I try to appear at their monthly farmer’s market, the one at the Battlefield Mall on third Saturday mornings. Find me there and I’ll have ‘booklets,’ not available anywhere other than in-person, while supplies last. Especially children’s activity booklets.

• I’ve joined a weekly writer’s group at the about-to-open, Plot Twist Comic and Games store, at 1901-E South Glenstone. (It’s in the short buildings next to the tall, Plaza Tower at Sunshine and Glenstone. Behind the sub shop on the side facing Plaza Tower.) Our group has several books for sale there.

So, yeah, lot’s going on.
